Dr. Saumya Jain

A skilled ophthalmologist, he completed his MBBS at Government Medical College, Nagpur, and Post-Graduation (DNB Residency) at Sankara Eye Hospital, Guntur. Currently, he is pursuing a Vitreoretinal (VR) fellowship under Dr. Naresh Babu at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai.

He has performed over 2,000 cataract surgeries, including Phacoemulsification, MICS, SICS, and ECCE, excelling in complex cases like subluxated and traumatic cataracts. With expertise in diagnostic and surgical VR procedures, he specializes in treating conditions such as nAMD, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachment, using advanced techniques like micro-incision sutureless vitrectomy (MIVS).
